Noon the Balloon: A Room Spray with a Dreamy Story
Noon the Balloon is a fictional room spray concept designed for children who struggle with nightmares. For this project, I not only created the visual identity but also developed the heartfelt story behind the product.
Noon the Balloon is a fictional room spray concept designed for children who struggle with nightmares. For this project, I not only created the visual identity but also developed the heartfelt story behind the product.
The story begins with a caring nanny who wanted to help her grandson sleep peacefully. After countless sleepless nights, she tried everything to soothe him. One evening, after calming him down from yet another nightmare, her grandson told her she smelled nice—like lavender. Unbeknownst to him, it was the calming scent of her homemade lavender spray, lovingly named Noon. That night, he fell asleep instantly and stayed soundly asleep until morning. From then on, the nanny sprayed his room with Noon every evening, and the nightmares never returned.
This imaginative concept was developed as part of a project for Shillington Education, where I combined storytelling and design to bring the world of Noon the Balloon to life for children.
