“Ik zal niet doorvertellen hoe oud je bent”: “I won’t tell anyone your age” is a concept aimed at reducing loneliness in our 20th century society. Particularly the elderly are vulnerable to loneliness and social isolation - which can seriously affect both mental as well as physical health. Through my research I discovered, however, that they are not the only group suffering from loneliness: studies showed that students in big cities have also experienced this isolation. Therefore, I created this concept in which those two vulnerable groups, from different generations, could live together - and thus help the other with their company.
